Preparing for retirement is one of the most important financial challenges you will face; which is why it’s imperative to gain as much information and knowledge as possible so you can have the best chance of enjoying the retirement you dream of.

This course has been taught at colleges and universities in the United States for decades and is still one of the most comprehensive seminars available on the subject. This three-part course will teach you ways to take charge of your finances for a more stable and comfortable retirement. In this course, you will learn how to:
- Make your dollars go further
- Invest to enhance growth potential and stability
- Use 401(k)s and IRAs to save for retirement
- Make wise use of employer-provided benefits
- Reduce your tax liability with tax-advantaged strategies
- Assess your retirement income needs and develop a plan
- Shield yourself and your family from economic hardship
- Make sound retirement plan distribution decisions
- Provide for your family and heirs
- Preserve your standard of living in retirement
By attending this course, you will gain confidence in your ability to make wise financial decisions about your future and will feel more prepared to face the financial challenges that may arise during retirement.
The Details
This course is open to the community and is best suited for those saving for, nearing, or already in retirement. Regardless of your income, occupation, or age, you can benefit from the information presented.
There will be two sessions offered in September (each session 3 weeks long), meeting either Tuesday or Thursday nights from 6:30-9:00 p.m. All sessions will be held at:
